بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

În numele lui Dumnezeu cel Milos şi Milostiv.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Slavă lui Dumnezeu, Domnul lumilor,

الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Milosul, Milostivul,

مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

Stăpânul Zilei Judecăţii!

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

Ţie ne închinăm, Ţie îţi cerem ajutorul.

اهدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

Călăuzeşte-ne pe Calea cea Dreaptă,

صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ

calea celor binecuvântaţi de Tine, şi nu a celor care Te-au supărat, şi nici a celor rătăciţi.
